Chesil Beach Beer Can
At Chesil Beach I had merry japes watching poeple throw pebbles at a floating beer can. I'm cursing myself that my camera was set to a low resolution video setting.

Ah..you'd be thinking of "Echo Beach" by Martha and the Muffins.

I had some vague notion that this song was about Chesil beach. Its completely wrong. It must have been a myth going round at the time.
There's a book called On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan.
I have it and am looking forward to reading it. McEwan was chastised for mentioning that he had a pebble from the beach on his writing desk while he wrote it. He had to take it back. (The pebble not the book)
