Habit
"I won't be around on your birthday", I said as we sat next to a pool table half way through the first half.
"So I heard", he grinned, "You're starting to make a bit of a habit of this".
"You're enjoying trying to make me feel guilty - aren't you," I said. " I didn't know you were even doing anything for your birthday till last thursday. This arrange,ment was made ages ago."
He continued to rib me - pointing out my squirming.
"My room nearly done now" I said,
"I heard someone injured their back doing it". He said.
"You would have seen it if you hadn't declined my latest invitations."
"I'm tired of travelling all the way over there," He responded. "People don't come over to my place. I don't feel guilty about it."
